India ranks first in the world in terms of population and first in terms of democracy. As of 2023, in India, there are 28 states, 9 union territories, and 764 districts. In general, national parties rule India either alone, through alliances, or with the assistance of regional parties. Each state in India has a number of regional parties, depending on various support levers. As a result, the major regional parties dominating the region have either a tie-up or the support of other small regional parties in the same regions, which is the common political scenario prevailing in India.
Regional small parties, in my opinion, play a crucial role in governing both at the state and federal levels, either directly or indirectly, and must be considered a large and important deciding factor. The psychological conditions of distinct groups of people in each region of India serve as the backdrop for the establishment of local regional parties in order to secure their rights, protection, and well-being. The size of tiny regional parties is determined by the number of individuals who support them.
So, in the region of India, there are a number of right ways (new, pinpoint strategies) and enormous opportunities to improve any national or regional political party’s strength and vote banks by winning the public’s maximum support, which vary with the execution of quality strategies and the time frame specified.
In India, public support strategies are divided into two categories: long-term activities and short-term actions, which depend on the level of public expectation from the government in each region and are further divided into two categories: state government actions and federal government actions. The important thing to remember is that the success of all of the aforementioned strategies is reliant on the identification of priority, degree of necessity, and proper timing of execution in relation to the public’s needs to begin and end.
SUMMARY
As a result, national or regional parties seeking to serve the public with a full majority have a wide range of options through timely implementation of the correct things through analysis, study, observation, and finding suitable actions through different teams of executives led by appropriate leaders in different regions.
